Scotland – Minimum Pricing – Supreme Court hearing date announced

The long running saga over the Scottish Government’s intention to introduce a minimum unit price for alcohol of 50p (opposed by the Scotch Whisky Association) may finally be drawing to a close.  We have learnt that the Supreme Court will hear what is likely to be the last line of appeal by the SWA’s challenge on 24/25 July 2017.
